In recent years there have been a few disappointments for lovers of Chanel handbags. There have been some nice offerings but many would say they were just too strange to be successful. Well, the good news is that 2011 is looking to be the year when Chanel once again wows the world with their products. The new Chanel Cruise line could be the best ever and there is little doubt that this collection is going to be huge.

Some people have complained that Chanel handbags have just gone a bit too off the rails recently. Sure we all like a bit of crazy, but some of the handbag designs seemed to be absolutely gaga. Chanel has obviously had a bit of a rethink and while there are a few bizarre designs in this collection they have toned it down a lot. These are bags that you will love because of their unusual-ness, but you won’t have to worry about them taking all the limelight. The range is just on the right side of crazy to be successful and groundbreaking.

It is great to see that Chanel has got their head back in the game and that the Cruise range is such a fantastic collection. Hopefully this is a good omen for 2011 and that it will mean there will be plenty more great collections launched as people get inspired by this range. There is little doubt that Chanel has set the bar for the beginning of the year and it is going to be hard to top this collection. If you had begun to lose faith in what this modern version of the brand had to offer then you will have this restored now – they really have got it right this time and may have already produced the best bags of 2011 before the year had even begun.
